Countdown is now available

Thanks to a grant from Autism Speaks and with the generous support of many experts, CADS introduces our first eTraining CADS Countdown.

Countdown is designed to support diverse learners taking ski, snowboard, sitski and nordic lessons by providing inclusive tools and strategies. Approximately 90 minutes.

Please review your 3 options to sign up for Countdown:

1. All CADS members can access Countdown for free! Sign into your snowline account, and select ‘COUNTDOWN - Free Countdown eTraining’ (bottom of menu on the home page). This is ideal for parents, guardians, caregivers, students and volunteers, with no certificate of completion.

2. CADS instructors who wish to take the version of Countdown that provides a certificate of completion can use a free coupon code. Please request your code by email to Christian@cads.ski. Click on the bar below to register for Countdown.

3. CADS non-members are welcome to take Countdown eTraining for only $20. This is ideal for ski and snowboard professionals. Click on the bar below to register for Countdown.

CADS Inspirations

Don't take our word for it!

My son Jamie participates in CADS because he needs a little extra help on the hill. CADS has helped him get past the challenges of autism and find freedom and success on the hill. CADS has been a life changer not only for Jamie, but for our whole family!

I loved getting to meet all sorts of different people, and getting to know my CADS Ski Instructors at Festival. They were so kind, helpful, and so much fun to be around. Now... let’s talk about that award. Canadian Skier of the year! Never in a million years did I think I would receive an award like that in my life. I still struggle to wrap my mind around it! It was a great honor, and certainly a huge surprise.

The 'all inclusive nature' of the CADS organization (Instructors, volunteers, athletes and families) are diverse, and we truly felt that all were inclusive. There seemed to be no judgement of others. This is something most groups strive for, but as you know rarely can achieve.
